There must be a mistake regarding the two C200 petrol versions, the RWD and the AWD. If they have the same fuel consumption - i.e. 6.4 litres, they must have the same CO2-Emissions, too, as they are directly proportional. Same for the C200 and C220 diesel. The C200 seems to have a lower fuel consumption than the C220 but a higher CO2 emission? The conversion figures for petrol engines are "fuel consumptions in l/100km" x 23.2 = "CO2-Emissions in g/km", the ones for Diesel are "fuel consumptions in l/100km" x 26.2 = "CO2-Emissions in g/km".

If I'm not mistaken, the audio speaker system in the picture is Burmester! http://www.worldcarfans.com/114012269107/2014-mercedes-benz-c-class-engine-lineup-fully-detailed/lowphotos#7 ... Are they also making Burmester a standard fitment like Porsche and Bugatti?

Yes it is the Bermester, but an optional audio system not standard I think. It is too expensive to be a standard audio system. Only the S, C and up coming S coupe have the Bermester. Maybe the SL will get this system in the facelift.

I would not be surprised the C250 BlueTEC for the US market will be announced in the next few months--possibly as early as the New York Auto Show.

" 2.0-liter with 238 HP (175 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft)" If this engine was in CLA or A class it would be awesome but sadly it is not possible.

Does anyone know if rumors about Benz returning to inline 6 engine is true? Can you get one w/o the silly display?

Yes they are returning, but not with this new C-class yet, probably with the 1st facelift, inline-6 petrol and diesel will be available! Unfortunately this stupid display is not removable by factory, but they can help you on the importer behalf, but then you will be without radio/navigation and other things needed to control via-screen :P

Good info, thank you. I've seen some pics of a manual transmission version, pretty cool. I'm just not getting the hang of that center display. If it was at least retractable .......
