The first official images of the Kia GT4 Stinger concept have been published, prior to the vehicle's public debut set for later today at NAIAS in Detroit.
These fully revealing images show an interesting rear-wheel drive coupe featuring Kia's signature tiger nose grille and vertical headlights with a row of LED daytime running lights. Wearing an Ignition Yellow paint hue, the concept seems to be sitting quite low and has a dual vented hood along with muscular wheel arches. We also notice the appealing sloped roofline, raked windscreen and a double exhaust arrangement while the LED taillights have a C-shape configuration.
The 2+2 coupe has a minimalistic interior cabin with very few buttons, lots of metal inserts and body-hugging seats. There's also a flat-bottomed steering wheel and an interesting see-through A-pillar.
Kia already said the GT4 Stinger has a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter T-GDI gasoline engine developing 315 bhp (235 kW) transferred to the rear axle through a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox. Other highlights include Brembo Gran Turismo two-piece cross-drilled rotors with four-piston calipers, a bespoke chassis and 20-inch alloy wheels which have aluminum inserts and are wrapped around in Pirelli P Zero tires.
Full details will be available later today.
