Model was just introduced in September

Porsche just introduced the 911 Turbo at the Frankfurt Motor Show but our spies have already snapped pictures of is believed to be a facelifted model.

Looking instantly recognizable, the car has been equipped with a new front bumper that has revised air intakes. The LED daytime running lights have also been covered with camouflage so it's possible they have been updated as well. Last but not least, the model appears to have a new rear bumper with larger taillights.

There's no word on performance changes but the current model has a turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 520 HP (383 kW) and up to 710 Nm (523 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds (3.2 seconds in Sport + mode) and hit a top speed of 315 km/h (195 mph).

GT2 perhaps? Why would Porsche refresh the Turbo's in 1 year?

Looks like a Turbo body, but I agree that it seems very early to be refreshing such a new car. Could be testing GT2 drivetrain/chassis?
