Lorinser has introduced their new tuning program for the Mercedes S-Class at the Essen Motor Show.
Looking rather controversial, the sedan has been equipped with an aerodynamic body kit that includes modified bumpers, a revised grille and numerous carbon fiber flaps. The car also has a sports exhaust system and unique alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the S500's 4.6-liter V8 engine can be tuned to produce 530 HP (390 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 75 HP (55 kW) and 100 Nm (73 lb-ft) of torque. Performance specifications were not released but the standard model can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
