Audi RS5 test drive ends with grand theft auto [video]

Worth 80,000 USD

A man stole an 80,000 USD Audi RS5 after a test drive at a Houston dealership.

An Audi dealership in Houston was the victim of a grand theft auto after a man drove off with an RS5 right after taking the high-performance coupe for a test drive. It happened in the middle of the day when two men came at the dealership in a white Range Rover which lacked license plates, indicating the SUV was stolen as well.

After returning from the test drive they started to talk about sealing the deal and at one point the dealer turned away from the desk, giving one of the felons the chance to grab the keys and steal the RS5 Coupe in the blink of an eye.

Audi West Houston has set up a 5,000 USD reward for those who can bring the car back or provide a tip which will lead to the apprehension of the criminals.

They should have sent someone in a BMW M4 to catch it. No trouble.

The phrase "drive it like I stole it" had never been taken quite this literally.

Fair play, they are expensive cars anyway....you should probably hand it back some time in the new year so that you have got a proper test drive under your belt!
