The first images depicting the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster have surfaced online ahead of an imminent official reveal.
Back in August we heard from Lamborghini's CEO Stephan Winkelmann that a roadster version of the ultra-exclusive Veneno is planned and now the first three photos of the car have appeared on AutoEmotionenTV. It looks virtually the same as the coupe, with the obvious exception of the roof.
While the coupe was built in four units, the roadster version will be made in a limited series of nine cars and each will cost 3.3M EUR (about 4.4M USD or 2.81M GBP). Power will come from the same Aventador-derived V12 6.5-liter churning 750 HP (552 kW) which should be enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 2.8 seconds and a 220 mph (350 km/h) top speed.
