Texas Armoring has announced plans to build a handful of Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6s with B6+ armor.

Should your enemies really despise you, you'll be glad to know the model can handle everything up to a 7.62x63mm (.30-06) round.

The company recently stopped accepting pre-orders and it remains unclear if anyone was willing to pony up a 75% deposit - $1,001,250 (€738,985 / £620,200) - for the chance to have an armored G63 AMG 6x6 delivered to them late next year.

Since it weighs 3,8 tons standard, I wonder how much it'll way with armor. 6? 7 ton? Then that petrol engine might start to feel a little weak, a big diesel with more torque would be more useful.
