2014 Lexus RC F leaked?

 2014 Lexus RC F leaked?
2014 / 2015 Lexus RC F purported photo 27.9.2013 / Best Car

Could have a 5.0-liter V8 with 455 bhp (339 kW)

Several purported pictures of the Lexus RC F have surfaced in Japan's Best Car magazine.

While we cannot confirm their authenticity, the images suggest the model will have aggressive front fascia with a prominent spindle grille that is flanked by large air intakes. We can also see a ram air hood, ventilated fenders and IS-inspired headlights. Out back, there's an active rear spoiler and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.

Power will reportedly be provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops approximately 455 bhp (339 kW) and 401 lb-ft (543 Nm) of torque. Despite being more powerful than the old 5.0-liter V8 in the IS F, the new engine is expected to be more fuel efficient as it is slated to have a cylinder deactivation system that will turn off four-cylinders when maximum power isn't required.

Nothing is official but the RC F could be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show before going on sale in September 2014.

So what is the Lexus RC? Is it the new name for the IS Coupe? Because that's exactly what this looks like. Anyway, the front pic looks amazing. The back is a bit weird and off, which leads me to believe this is an educated rendering. If they can manage to get the front like in the pic, that would be awesome. It looks hungry as f*** and ready to eat anything in its path. BTW, those wheels are probably the best wheels ever made. They also exist in graphite color on the current IS F.

Its not real. Weirdly, I think the car will be more aggressive than this. Those pipes out back are tiny, the haunches aren't reflective of the prototypes and the wing looks very 'Silvia'. The Japanese know their way around CAD software. Do not be surprised if this is a rendering.

If this isn't real, I hope it looks close to this. Aggressive styling will make the RC F stand out from its rivals.

The problem is that when the ISF was released it was compaired to the E92 M3. This will also be compared to the new M3 and it will still be not as good as the M3

LOL You are telling nonsense as well, as the ISF is always the machine in its own puny world. I've driven one, it is as nonsense and bad-mouthed like you do.

No I have not, but Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear proved that in a test between the ISF and the E92 M3. Im not a M3 fan but as performance saloons go it is unbeatable

Regardless of millisecond performance specs, the IS-F always had the underdog appeal for me. As does this. Very excited to see this. Would nobody like to cite the relics that Audi will still be manufacturing when these cars are unveiled? These cars including the near completion next gen' C63...
