Red Bull dominate Italian Grand Prix qualifying [results]
Pole position for Sebastian Vettel (GER) Red Bull Racing, 2nd for Mark Webber (AUS) Red Bull Racing and 3rd for Nico Hulkenberg (GER) Sauber 07.09.2013 / XPB

Red Bull takes 1-2

Red Bull accomplished a one-two result in today's qualifying session for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

It was a calm Saturday at Monza as Sebastian Vettel managed to take yet another pole position with a time of 1m 23.755s which made him 0.213s faster than teammate Mark Webber who will start second. A nice surprise was Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg who managed to grab third, ahead of the two Ferraris which failed to make the local fans very happy as Felipe Massa grabbed fourth place while Fernando Alonso came in fifth.

Behind the two Ferraris will start Nico Rosberg who outpaced the Toro Rosso driven by Daniel Ricciardo. McLaren secured eighth and ninth with Sergio Perez and Jenson Button, respectively. Top ten ends with Jean-Eric Vergne, while Kimi Raikkonen (11) and Lewis Hamilton (12) didn't qualify for Q3 and as a result they will start tomorrow's race behind Vergne.
