Jaguar has posted the first photo with the C-X17 concept which will be shown in the metal at the Frankfurt Motor Show starting next week.
We only get a front view of the car which doesn't hold any surprises as the styling cues are taken from recent Jaguar models but oversized a bit to match the crossover body style. We notice the large front grille and generous air intakes, while from the teaser photo posted several days ago we found out there will be a tailgate-mounted spoiler, sloping roofline and F-Type-inspired taillights.
The production version will ride on the new PLA - Premium Lightweight Architecture which will also underpin the BMW 3-Series-rivaling XS. Jaguar describes the concept as a design study which introduces a "highly-advanced, modular aluminum architecture". More details will be disclosed on Monday once the car gets its official debut.
