Fiat has unveiled the 2014 Fiat 500C GQ Edition in United States, following the launch of a similar version of the coupe released for the European market in March at the Geneva Motor Show.

This special edition of the 500C can be distinguished by its revised front fascia featuring larger air intakes and five-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels with a Hyper Nero finish and Rosso center caps. There's also a cloth top spoiler extending the roofline and below sits a rear fascia diffuser integrating the two exhaust pipes. Fiat used a Gloss Nero finish for the headlights, taillights, parking lamp bezels, along with putting "GQ 500" badges on the B-pillar.

The power-operated cloth roof can be retracted at speeds of up to 60 mph (96 km/h) and will return to the original position by pressing the same roof button while driving at speeds of up to 50 mph (80 km/h).

Moving inside the cabin we find a three-spoke steering wheel wrapped around in Nero leather with Steam (white) inner leather ring. The 500C GQ Edition comes with sport seats with the same black leather, while other highlights include Alcantara inserts and a white leatherette center stripe.

Power is provided by a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine linked to a five-speed manual transmission outputting 160 bhp (119 kW) and a peak torque of 170 lb-ft (230 Nm). It will do the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in the "low 7-second range".

Available in Nero Puro (straight black), Bianco (white) and Granito Lucente (granite crystal), the 2014 Fiat 500C GQ Edition will reach dealerships early next year.
