Tauro V8 Spider showcased on video

On sale for 100,000 EUR

The first Tauro V8 Spider made is the star of this video and can be yours if you are willing to pay 100,000 EUR.

Limited to 30 units, the Spanish car is based on the Pontiac Solstice with a new body taking inspiration from the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Fisker Karma, along with some Ferrari California and Nissan 350Z influences. The interior cabin is sourced from General Motors and features Alcantara trim, leather-covered dashboard and an aluminum gear knob.

It has been fitted with a GM V8 6.2-liter engine generating 440 HP (324 kW) and 432 lb-ft (586 Nm) of torque, but output can be increased to 480 HP (353 kW), 530 HP (390 kW) or 650+ HP (478+ kW) via several performance packages. Connected to a six-speed manual gearbox, the standard model can run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4 seconds and hit a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h).

GM came out with the Solstice?sky before Toyota/Subaru came out with their cars and couldn't get traction. GM still has to be asking what the hell happened.

And also the F-type influences are pretty vivid.

Can we collectively stop describing a car's looks by saying it looks like two or more other cars? You could do that for literally every car ever designed, and it doesn't matter (unless it's a shameless rip-off of one car, which this isn't). It's just lazy. Granted, the reverse/fog/reflector lights in the rear bumper are from a Punto/MiTo probably to save money, but car designers do not design something by looking at other cars and saying "yeah, let's just do that."
