Kyrgyzstan design studio creates Lamborghini Sesto Elemento replica [videos]

Based on a 1982 Volvo

A Kyrgyzstan-based design studio used scrap metal to create a replica of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.

It's certainly not one of the best replicas out there but we have to appreciate the studio's effort taking into consideration the extremely limited budget available. The "New Format" studio built this replica in just three months by using the chassis from a 1982 Volvo, the alloy wheels of a BMW X5, along with other bits and pieces from other cars.

The vehicle is known as the "Kyrgz Lamborghini" and has the exact same dimensions as the real concept car (turned into limited-run production model). The studio's art director said his team used as guidelines design drafts obtained on the Internet.

The real Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is scheduled to enter a limited-run series production of 20 units later this year, each priced at around 2M EUR.

I wonder if Lamborghini started off using a 1982 Volvo! Impressive creation all the same.
