According to a recent report, Opel and Vauxhall will likely approve the Adam Cabrio shortly.
Previewed by the Adam Rocks concept, the production model is expected to have an electronically-operated soft top that is similar to the one on the Citroen DS3 Cabrio and Fiat 500C.
Engine options will likely carryover from the standard model, so expect choices to include 1.2-liter petrol with 70 HP (51 kW) and 1.4-liter petrol with outputs of 87 HP (64 kW) and 100 HP (74 kW).
In related news, Auto Motor and Sport talked to Opel Chairman Karl-Thomas Neumann who reaffirmed the company will build trendy cars that "ordinary people can afford." He added this philosophy will carry over to the next-generation Ampera which will be cheaper than the current model.
