Draws inspiration from the Project 7 concept

Rumors about a high-performance Jaguar F-Type have been swirling for months, so Theophilus Chin decided to create some rendering of a potential F-Type RS.

Drawing inspiration for the Project 7 concept, Chin created an aggressive roadster that features a new front bumper with larger air intakes and honeycomb mesh grille inserts. The model has also been equipped with a ventilated hood, a front spoiler and aerodynamic side skirts. The sporty styling continues out back as there's a carbon fiber rear diffuser and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.

Chin declined to speculate on what could power the model but the Project 7 had a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that produced 550 HP (405 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. This enabled the single-seat roadster to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

It does seem heavy, but then the BMW M3 is roughly the same weight as are other luxury high performers. As mechamynd says, "add lightness" would be a good strategy.
