Could debut later this year

Our spies have already caught the 2014 Volkswagen Polo virtually undisguised but new details are starting to emerge about the upcoming model.

According to Autobild, the facelifted Polo will be offered with the 1.0-liter three-cylinder TSI engine that currently powers the up! It will reportedly have outputs ranging from 60 HP (44 kW) to 90 HP (66 kW). The engine will likely be offered alongside a variety of petrol and diesel four-cylinders.

On the styling front, there isn't much to report as the model is only expected to have a revised front bumper, a smaller antenna and restyled taillights. The interior could also receive some minor updates including a new dashboard, an updated infotainment system and additional assistance systems.

It already does in India. But it's a non-TSi 1.2 3 cylinder which makes 75ps.

I believe that this VW Polo is a 2015 Skoda Fabia mule, considering the obvious details such as the CZ license plates and Rapid-style hubcaps.

It's a brake testing car. It says so on the large sticker at the back.

Thanks for highlighting that! :) But I wouldn't be surprised if it was though.
