Cadillac Escalade XPLORE Adventure Series revealed

Cadillac Escalade XPLORE Adventure Series revealed
Cadillac Escalade XPLORE Adventure Series 27.6.2013

From malls to Moab

The Cadillac Escalade has body-on-frame construction, but isn't equipped to go off-roading. Aria Coachworks is hoping to change that by teaming up with XPLORE Great Outdoors to create the Escalade XPLORE Adventure Series.

Built to order, the Escalade XPLORE will feature a matte exterior with black chrome trim, power running boards and a bespoke badge that is made of metal and wood. The SUV will also be equipped with an aluminum snorkel, a Warn winch and an XPLORE roof rack.

To handle tough terrain, the Escalade will ride on a custom suspension that will offer plenty of ground clearance. The model will also have aluminum wheels with "massive" BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.

Interior changes will be relatively limited but include leather and suede seats, all-weather floor mats and Woolrich blankets. The model will also come equipped with a unique XPLORE/Filson luggage set.

A variety of options will be available including a power roof-top tent, a custom matching Airstream Trailer and a matching BMW GS Adventure motorcycle.

This essentially tells us nothing about what this vehicle will be able to do, nothing about any performance modifications. I'm just nit-picking at this point because I'm salty that they didn't release any information at all, but the tires in this rendering are clearly not BFG all-terrains.
