Riding on 19-inch double-spoke alloys

A 2014 BMW X5 fitted with the M Sport package has been photographed by a BimmerPost member.

The car was wearing a bright white paint scheme and came with an M aerodynamic body kit. It had a shadowline trim (black trim around the windows) and was fitted with high-gloss roof rails. This particular BMW X5 M Sport featured 19-inch M double-spoke alloys but optional 20-inch M double-spoke rims are available for more money.

Interior goodies part of the M Sport package include M sport steering wheel, eight-speed sport automatic transmission, M foot rest and side sills, anthracite headliner, sport or multi-contour seats and an aluminum hexagonal trim. Clients can also opt for an M adaptive suspension with dynamic damping control and a rear air suspension. A bespoke key fob is also part of the package.

A very tired design nowadays. BMW are becoming very Apple like indeed.

I think this vehicle is actually riding on 20" M sport wheels. They are the same low profile and wide width as the outgoing E70 20" wheels and tires. They look small and are mistaken for 19's on the slightly bigger F15 body. Overall, BMW should make 22" wheels to suit the F15 proportions better.

yes, these are 20" wheels and I think they're good enough. They probably will offer a couple of more performance line wheels but nevertheless they need a bigger selection of 20"+ wheels in their lineup.

The rims and the fender flares look puny and ridiculous.

Wow the X5 has been saved thanks to "M". In South Africa most X5's have M Sport, and the std 19inch wheels are decent looking. normally the standard wheels like rubbish.

I think this is a design that will not 'wow' anyone, but the fog light and the fake side vents are definitely not helping!!!

Actually, the side vents are functional. As are the air curtain vent blowing over the wheel from the front.

I don't see why BMW used such a horrible colour for the brochure image. It actually looks a lot nicer in white.

This is what I'm always sayin, cars need to be seen in person to make judgement than you can see all the lines and dents, not in some funny brochure pictures in desert wearing 16" ugly wheels. Because its obvious that this is a great looking car.
