2014 BMW X5 leaked once more? Looks like the real deal
2014 BMW X5 leaked official photo (not confirmed) 29.05.2013 / AutoSpies.com

Due later this year

Several photos of the 2014 BMW X5 have surfaced the Internet, depicting probably the real car.

The photos appeared originally on AutoSpies.com and since then have been removed. We believe these are depicting the real next-gen X5 since there were 69 pics uploaded, which would make it hard to think someone made 69 renders.

In addition, these three photos match the ones we posted back in January so the cat is pretty much out of the bag. Moreover, if we compare the interior photo with the spy shot shown earlier this month, both of them have the same layout with the screen which appears to be non-retractable.

Taking into account the massive 69-pic leak, an official announcement is most likely imminent.

UPDATE: After a closer investigation, we found out BMWUSA News official Twitter account announced yesterday: "Stay tuned tomorrow night for breaking news on the next gen BMW X5…keep your eyes peeled here for the latest BMW US news." which means the new X5 will be shown tonight.

UPDATE 2: BMW has released a teaser photo with the X5.

does not look better than current range. also think bmw wants to reconnect lights to grill but is not finding a proper solution. its looks as if the have been given the order to get other parts of the face to connect with the grill but no clear reason to the concept to take an effect with positive impact. interior nice, brown is nice as well

Maybe in the real life I ll change my opinion, but this thing looks horrible! It looks better on white color but camouflaged. The interior is very nice but almost the same with some little luxury touches. I think the E70 looks better especially with the aero kit and those large 20 inch wheels. And the old 4.8iS had better looking than e70 and f15. Its just my opinion.

i dont like it anymore. i was hoping for something else. and what the f.ck is wrong with mercedes too? and audi? i like german cars. i think germans r the best on making cars, but in the last time the design is... more and more bs. maybe on the next gen. or the next. why with mini and bentley u can do art and with your own brands... no? anyway..

hahahah this is a facelift at best. X3 tail-lights, and X5 headlights. The interior looks the same. Pretty bland.

um... maybe the M Sport kit will save the looks as usual, and add some big wheels. the last X5 in standard spec always looked plain. Also i feel those front lights will date a bit fast and then they will facelift them to look like the old x5. But way better looking than the ugly ML and enormous Q7.

the exterior details such as wheels, headlights, air intakes, grills... are great and brilliant but overall, when we put them together..ya know..it's not ugly, neither very good looking as we expect from a brand like BMW tbh, kinda mixed feeling for a BMW-fan like me. But thumbs up for the interior, very nice - pure aesthetics, everything seems logically laid out

In 2012 bmw sold 302.086 x3,x5 and x6 ( approx 20% of the entire production). Not so bad for an ugly and expensive car, after all. But i have to agree with dude von dudenstein, 5gt is horrible.

Those are some enormous kidneys! I'm not too sure, but I guess it looks better than the outgoing model but need to have the official photos to make certain.

I bet it'll look a lot better in person than in photos. Right now the headlights seem way too big, but I think that'll change in person. Is anyone else seeing some Durango in it?

BMWs are so ugly nowadays it's not even funny. It all started with the 2005 5-series and the 2003 X3. Then we had the previous gen X5 (my opinion), then the X6, and to top it all off, BMW gave us the 5GT and 3GT. And did I mention the 1-series yet?

I'll wait for the official photos but the brown one looks good, its important to put some nice color and wheels for better first impressions, like on X4.
