BMW 4-Series Coupe Concept arrives in UK [video]

Production version due this year

The 4-Series Coupe Concept is being exhibited in UK at the BMW PGA Championship Exhibition in Surrey.

It made its public debut earlier this year in Detroit at NAIAS and now has reached UK territory. Its 16mm lower and 44mm wider than the 3-Series Coupe, while the wheelbase has grown by 50mm. Other changes include longer front/rear tracks, 20-inch wheels, hexagonal full LED headlights and a bigger air intake in the front apron.

Inside it benefits from the latest creations of BMW Individual, with an elegant two-tone Black and Schiaparelli Brown trim with light contrasting stitching. BMW has maintained the driver-focused layout with the most important controls being located around the driver.

It is believed a production version will be unveiled in the next couple of months in 428i, 435i versions, together with their xDrive siblings (428xi and 435xi).

This is why I wasn't blown away by the BMW Gran Lusso Coupe concept, it looks a lot like the 4-series Coupe concept. And I like the 4-series Coupe a lot more, it looks fantastic and looks like it's going to be fun to drive.

I don't buy the front apron as well as the rear apron isn't attractive piece of the car, not very cohesive, and the design projects as if the bumpers are missing some pieces to it.

Totally love it. Can't look better. Just hoping it will perform well on streets and track as well.
