Rebellion R2k revealed for the Gumball 3000 [video]

Co-designed with former Koenigsegg chief engineer Leif Tufvesson

Skier Jon Olsson and former Koenigsegg chief engineer Leif Tufvesson have teamed to up create a one-off Rebellion R2k which will compete in the Gumball 3000 race.

Apparently based on the Ultima GTR, the Rebellion R2k has been completely redesigned over the course of a year.

Little is known about the model but it features a stunning exterior with LED-infused headlights, a roof-mounted scoop and a massive rear diffuser. We can also see ventilated front fenders, a prominent rear wing, a distinctive dual exhaust system and ADV1 wheels which are wrapped in Continental tires.

The interior is a little spartan but comes equipped with carbon fiber seats, Alcantara upholstery and a floating center console.

There's no word on what powers the car but judging by the sound, it's probably something pretty impressive.

Completley agree with the 2 previous comments: the design and livery is highly inspirated in the R18 and, taking into account the sound only, the engine and exhaust are the ones from the Audi/Lambo V10.

I thought I was looking at R18! Couldn't they use different color scheme?
