A truly unique 1956 Aston Martin DB2/4 MkII Supersonic by Carrozzeria Ghia wearing chassis number AM300/1/1132 will be auctioned on November 12 by RM Auctions.
It was commissioned by one of the members of the Vanderbilt family and was publicly unveiled in 1956 at the Turin Auto Salon. It spent its first years in the French Riviera and was driven by American Formula 1 driver Harry Schell.
The one-off Aston Martin DB2 appeared in Life magazine and won awards at Pebble Beach. It was recently restored and is expected to grab somewhere in the region of 1.5M to 2M USD.
