Jay Leno's Garage showcases 1963 Jaguar E-Type [video]

In pristine condition

A mint condition 1963 Jaguar E-Type is the star in one of Jay Leno's Garage episodes.

Besides a custom E-Type which combines Series I looks with Series III engine, Jay Leno also has an original as they get Series I E-Type. The vehicle was purchased back in 1963 by a woman and comes with the authentic straight-six 3.8-liter engine and Moss gearbox.

All these years she took very good care of the car as all Leno had to do is put a new battery, along with wider wire-spoke wheels fitted with more modern rubbers. Needless to say, his crew also performed some preventative maintenance to make sure the car works properly. One can also appreciate the exquisite white paintjob which makes the car look like if it came straight from the factory.
