The model has also been equipped with a distinctive front spoiler, a sporty rear bumper and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. Thanks to the aerodynamic styling tweaks the model has a drag coefficient of just 0.28.

Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.3-liter engine that develops 349 HP (257 kW) and 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately six seconds.

As we have previously reported, General Motors inked a deal to sell outdated Saab technology to Beijing Automotive Industry Holdings Co. Ltd (BAIC) in late 2009.

I remember being in Beijing back in 2007 and saw what I thought was the weirdest looking X5. I think Chinese copying back in the mid 2000s was OK considering that essentially all products stayed within the mainland and little interest was paid to it from the outside world. However, in an increasingly global world, and with the Shanghai Motor Show becoming and international hit, they are going to have to change their approach to car design if they want to be taken seriously.

GM fed the Saab carcase to any automotive scavenger willing to take a piece and it's sad. I still think whoever bottled that Koenigsegg deal really f***ed up. I don't think Koenig would bastardise Saab tech like this.
