BMW MZ8 rendered

 BMW MZ8 rendered
BMW MZ8 render / Christophe Jourd'hui

Honoring the 8-Series and Z8

Designer Christophe Jourd'hui created a BMW MZ8 render as a tribute to the 8-Series and Z8 models.

The BMW 8-Series was manufactured between the years 1989 and 1999, while the Z8 was on sale from 1999 until 2003. Christophe Jourd'hui merged the designs of these two cars but in a more futuristic approach to create the MZ8. He graduated from the International School of Design (IDS) in Valenciennes, France.

The French designer conceived the MZ8 with a removable hardtop and a more aggressive shark nose, together with a new look of the firm's traditional double-kidney grille. Christophe Jourd'hui gives an explanation of his work at the source link below.

These are not from BMW, this artist also made a red coupe a while back with the similar front. I always thought it looks more like a future mustang then a BMW... I do like it, its exciting, but I prefer my BMW's to have more class then something like this.

I always HATED BMW's prototypes, concepts and renderings!! I always thought they are outdated.

like almost every car... rendering/concept look spectacular. In the end, as soon as they decide on the look for manufacturing, looks nothing like the original :(

Beautiful rendering... although i'm not convinced on the rear lights and dont feel they add anything to the car...
