These latest spy photos with the BMW M4 Coupe (F82) partially reveal the finished design of the headlamps and taillights. Up until now prototypes had been equipped with fabricated units.
Following a string of speculative renders now we take a look at the most recent spy photos of a camouflaged BMW M4 Coupe prototype while undergoing testing. The new M3 (F80) and M4 Coupe will share the same inline-six 3.0-liter turbo engine expected to churn 415 hp (310 kW) and 395 lb-ft (535 Nm). The power unit will be linked to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a dual-clutch, seven-speed transmission that will receive an eight ratio later on.
Various weight-saving measures like aluminum hood, boot lid and doors, along with a CFRP roof and optional ceramic brakes will make the car significantly lighter than the current M3 Coupe which has a curb weight of 3,704 lbs (1,680 kg).
