Bertone has introduced its latest creations at the Geneva Motor Show this week, an updated Jet 2 and the new Jet 2+2.
The Jet 2 is a continuation of the concept revealed in 2004 and is based on the previous generation of the Aston Martin Vanquish. However, it has received the most recent styling cues of the model in a shooting brake body style.
This one-off concept is owned by Lilli Bertone, the firm's current president. In comparison to the older Vanquish, the Jet 2 is 210mm longer and benefits from additional luxurious trims and a new paintjob.
The more impressive Jet 2+2 is a concept hinting at a shooting brake version of the Aston Martin Rapide. It has the same technical characteristics and dimensions as the standard Rapide (not Rapide S). We notice a full-length LED strip, sharply raked tailgate, while the C-pillars bent forwards connecting to the muscular wheel arches.
On the inside it has a 2+2 individual seating layout with more room for the rear passengers thanks to the shooting brake body style. The concept's rear seats can be folded flat to provide extra luggage capacity, while goodies such as two-tone leather, wood and aluminum trims are different than what you will find on the standard Rapide.
