2014 Audi RS Q3 leaked [VIDEO ADDED]

Could have 360 HP (265 kW)

The first pictures of the 2014 Audi RS Q3 production version have leaked to the web, ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

Looking bold and aggressive, the crossover has a unique front bumper with large air intakes, honeycomb mesh grille inserts and matte aluminum trim. Moving further back, we can see aerodynamic side skirts, a reduced ride height and massive alloy wheels. Lastly, there's a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a prominent rear diffuser.

The driver-focused cabin comes nicely equipped with a flat-bottomed steering wheel, diamond-quilted leather seats and alloy pedals. There's aluminum trim and white contrast stitching.

Like the RS Q3 concept, the production model will likely feature a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder petrol engine that develops 360 HP (265 kW). It should be connected to a seven-speed S tronic and a quattro all-wheel drive system. This setup enabled the concept to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 265 km/h (165 mph).

Thanks to Jan for the video tip!

RS what a joke. Well actually the RS badge has no real heritage or philosophy, to disappoint people with, but a fwd biases awd cute ute with a single tail pipe is beyond pointless for a performance badge. It's no faster than the sq5. Another disappointment by RS..actually I can't even remember the last time RS produced a class leading performance car enthusiasts (other than under steer enthusiasts) wanted.

These days... as local africans say- eish!!! No one seems to notice, Here stands the Audi rescue3, to slot in below the rescue5... Why couldn't they put the rs ehind the name? Seems nice enough, but the auto industry seems to be getting a bit like the cellular industry- when it comes to naming their products. Soon we will all be using an i-sung i32484gyhdsfususdjhr67 cellphone, driving an AMGRSMT7658dhsdg diesel something...

Wtf?? They really did this? Why oh why not the soooo much better looking Q5???? Plus, it's the first time ever, that Audi drops an RS-model for a car that doesnt have an S-version. I wanna know what's under the hood. Other then that, for now, the most unnecessary RS ever build.

What is the point of a Q3 RS? You may aswell save some cash and buy the RS3 instead. Love their 5 cylinder powerplant though

One RS model too many methinks. An SQ5 is great, and probably makes this a bit redundant?

They brag with quattro like they're the only brand in the world who makes AWD cars its getting annoying. Interior is ugly but exterior is not hideous as the regular Q3, it might even look good in person.

They shrunk the already tight Q5! How's this miniscule cute thing an SUV? Where's the utility? It barely fits 4 people without luggage.

A bit weird, but looks very racy. 5 cylinder engine is a great choice too.
