Mitsubishi EVO X with 908 AWHP [video]

Built by 3D Motorsports

This could be the most powerful Mitsubishi EVO X in the world right now.

The heavily modified EVO X is owned by someone called "Chase" and was developed by 3D Motorsports in collaboration with DKT Performance and Daves Crankshaft. The vehicle was dyno tested at Karl Performance in Des Moines, Iowa and was rated at an impressive 908 AWHP (all-wheel horsepower).

The reliability of the car is questionable, but even so it's still impressive to see how much power you can squeeze from an inline-four 2.0-liter turbo engine and then transfer it to the wheels. As far as we can remember, the most powerful original equipment (OE) version of the EVO X is the FQ-400 with 403 hp (300 kW) and 387 lb-ft (524 Nm) of torque.

I'm pretty sure the tax evo x and ets evo x went well above these numbers, but its impressive still to see the 4b11 doing its thing and making the non believers recognize that there is life after the 4g63.

There is a big difference between reliability and durability. Reliability is usually open ended, but if you can guarantee the thing will work for 5,000km - and it does - then that is reliable. Durable is reliability over the longer term...and with 500hp being squeezed from 1 litre of engine capacity, along with stress on other components, well...
