March 5 reveal

Rolls-Royce has revealed a teaser photo and video with Wraith (Ghost Coupe) which will be unveiled in Geneva on March 5.

Although a new teaser was planned for next week, Rolls-Royce has released today a photo with the front grille and also a short clip announcing the arrival of the Wraith on March 5 when "the world will stand still". We already saw a bit of the car's design in previous teasers and spy shots, but we'll have to wait about three weeks for the full reveal.

The 2013 Rolls-Royce Wraith is expected to have a V12 6.6-liter, twin-turbo engine tweaked to output approximately 608 HP (447 kW), making it about 38 HP (28 kW) more powerful than the Ghost sedan. With an estimated weight of 2,300 kg (5,070 lbs), RR's most powerful model ever will need less than 4.7 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h).

Yesterday, 2/12/13, in Los Angeles we attended a Top Secret Rolls Royce Lockdown Event. It was 2 hours with Rolls Royce and BMW engineers, designers and Executives. We learned the history of the Wraith name, back from 1938 and all the amazingly, advanced technology the Wraith will have. And they had THE ONLY WRAITH made there. We got to see and somewhat touch it, in the flesh. It is a Ghost coupe, mixed with a Bentley GT in terms of styling. The interior is AMAZING, and is much nicer than the Ghost Sedan! The Wraith is going to be a huge RR success!!

To justify all these teasers, this thing needs to look like more than a two-door Ghost.
