Could debut in Geneva

The Insignia has been on the market for a few years now, so Opel is preparing to introduce an updated version at the Geneva Motor Show.

Recently caught by our spy photographers, the 2013 Insignia has a new front bumper with an enlarged grille and restyled headlights. The rear end is heavily camouflaged but appears to have a new bumper and updated taillights.

Our spies weren't able to snap interior pictures, but the cabin is only expected to have minor updates. This means we can expect revised trim and possibly an updated infotainment system.

Engine options could carryover with minor modifications for improved performance and reduced fuel consumption. There has also been rumors of an upgraded OPC with a turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 engine that develops as much as 400 hp (298 kW).

Aggressive, mean, elegant, beautiful, perfect composing. Fun, the old locks a bit boring compered to this. If you think it looks like something else… well, that’s because you don’t have the eyes of an artist - you have the eyes of a plumber… The point is – You see… o yes… but you don’t understand that you are seeing… AND you don’t observe things you are seeing. Already Jesus did say “You have eyes and yet do not see”.

With those new headlights it looks too much like the Chevrolet Malibu. And it's not good. Poor American design.
