BMW M4 rendered again

A very possible look

This rendering of the BMW M4 Coupe comes to us courtesy of BimmerPost.com.

Based on the 4-Series Coupe Concept, this is yet another tastefully done render of the M4 which has been fitted with a 1M/M6-like front bumper and the usual M side skirts. It also shows a significant hood bulge, bigger M alloy wheels, a carbon fiber roof and wider fenders.

Power is expected to come from a straight-six turbocharged engine generating 444 hp (331 kW) connected to either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual clutch (M-DCT) gearbox which will receive an eight gear during the car's lifespan. The same engine + gearbox combo will be available for the new M3.

The next-gen M3 will go on sale in 2014, followed most likely in 2015 by the M4 Coupe.

I wish these designers would do a better job of integrating the grill and bonnet. That hood line is so unnecessary . I am glad honda and audi designers know how to do it right. If BMW fixed that it would look so clean.

Someone clearly out did themselves! Only a rendering but very, very impressive. Love the presentation. And that mean stare leaves a lasting impression, to say the least.
