Hartge tunes the BMW M5 to 642 HP
Tops out at 305 km/h (190 mph)
Hartge has introduced a new tuning program for the BMW M5.
On the styling front, the sedan can be outfitted with a front lip spoiler, carbon fiber mirror casings and a variety of 21-inch alloy wheels. The firm also offers lowering springs (which reduce the ride height by 25mm front / 20mm rear) and a stainless steel sports exhaust system.
Interior changes are limited, but customers can order aluminum pedals, velour floor mats and Hartge badging.
The company also offers an engine conversion which enables the twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 to produce 642 HP (472 kW) and 810 Nm (597 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 82 HP (60 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft). Thanks to the extra oomph, the car runs from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hits a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph).
