Limited to 7 units

W Motors will introduce the LykanHypersport at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show, before deliveries commence in September.

Set to debut on January 29, the first supercar coming from the Middle East will be limited to only seven units and will cost an incredible 3.4M USD. It's the result of a six-year development in which important names like RUF Automobile, Viotti, Studiotorino, Magna Steyr Italia and ID4MOTION took part to complete the ambitious project.

Power will come from a mid-rear, flat-six, twin-turbo engine producing 750 hp (559 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque, helping the supercar reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 242 mph (390 km/h).

Aside from being a very fast car, Beirut-based W Motors says the LykanHypersport is also luxurious as it will feature diamond-coated LED lights and gold-stitched leather seats. All seven cars will come bundled with a Special Edition Cyrus Klepcys Watch worth more than 200,000 USD.

Strong Audi R8 design cues, but that's a great thing for this Middle East outfit. With all that wealth and bespoke supercar accummulation over the decades, it's actually surprising it's taken this long for a supercar firm to finally spring out of the Arabian dessert like an oasis! Fantastically wild; shades of Lexus LFA too!

Well instead of having their Mercs and Audis made out of silver/platinum/diamonds, Arabs will get those accessories built-in the car. Genius if you ask me.

Approaching Learjet territory. Diamond coated LED's and gold stitching, I presume they literally mean the real deal? How humble and very necessary. For 3.4 mill, it better be able to biblically part traffic, or at least legally come equipped with a police siren and lights.
