Nissan GT-R from Fast and Furious 6 revealed [video]

Movie premieres on May 24

The sixth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise will feature this heavily modified blue Nissan GT-R. The movie premieres on May 24.

R's Tuning was in charge of redesigning the entire cooling system of the GT-R, while the aerodynamic kit was developed by BenSopra. SP Engineering took care of the ECM calibration and used 100 octane to generate more power.

The carbon doors, door sills and trims, engine cover and cooling panel set were provided by Seibon, as well as the carbon trunk and AMS performance carbon roof. The package also contains AeroCatch flush Mount Hood pins and Sparco trunk latches.

The interior boasts a steering wheel from MCR, while the stopping power is provided by Weapons Grade Performance's carbon ceramic discs. The brake lines come from Endless, the camber arms from R's Tuning and the engine has received a Switzer P800 turbo kit with the necessary tuning done by SP Engineering who installed a HKS downpipe and a resonated Y-pipe.

Hannibal Lecter on Steroids! Come on guys; where's your sense of fun?! This GTR R35 is supposed to be outrageous as a star in 2F2F6 and it is. Stop whingeing all of you! It's Godzilla for goodness sake; do you expect it to look like a Fairlady Z?! Give me a break will ya?

Looking forward to the movie, the last one was pretty good. I'm kind of curious of where its' going to be set.

I think its based on a military convoy hijack with Letty involved set in Berlin, some was filmed in London and somewhere in Spain, apart from that, not much else i can add, apart from a BRZ in the film.

Am I the only one that believes that it is much uglier than the original car? Not improved at all

As long it improves the aerodynamics. "Form follows function"

And I doubt the kit was just made for the movie.. It's been out for quite a while. The guys behind BenSopra are kind of a big deal in the JDM scene :P

Love this aerokit from the moment I've saw it in SuperStreet last year. And with the classic Skyline blue it looks amazing!

They have made the front end worse than the normal GTR, but other than that there is a very SuperGT GT500 feel to it. And being a Fast and Furious car, you will always expect this incredible machine to be sadistically destroyed somewhere in the movie. will always prefer the R34.

Maybe they'll be smart enough to destroy a visual replica of the car and not the original. It would be a unnecessary waste.

It was more sad in 007 seven when they destroyed a bunch of Aston Martins, there are a lot of GTR's out there... but I admit that even a GTR is sad to see being not taken car
