Non-harmonic style. Especially big and high body and looking so small rims. Also I dislike its headlights and tail lights

No progress in design. Same with Apple and its products....will be getting in trouble in some years.

It feels like the first generation (1999) has looked better than all subsequent generations.

the front looks like the 5 series and the back just like the 7 series. it looks much better than any SUV on the current market. The X5 has the performance but the thing that I did not like about it is the ride quality and quietness. it gives you sprty feeling and not the isolation that you get from the (ML or RX). other than that, as I said i think this is the best looking car in its category.

I get the impression that there are a lot of X5 enthusiasts here because this 3rd Gen version is by far the ugliest on record. The sales of the original game-changer must be going throught the roof on the Used Market now! The previous Gen is larger, but kept the good looks of the original in some style and now this monstrosity. What is going on with BMW designs nowadays? Makes you wanna go Back In Time to the 80s!

What is with BMW in the last time? And Mercedes too. I hope that the next next generations will be more beautiful and give more class, like they did long time ago.

Ugly, and out of design direction. What's up with those fog lights, they look like warts out of the X1 design language. Better get an Italian involved, after Michellotti(80s), BMW is gone downhill and stuck with old, staid design lines!

Already looks like I've seen it for months. This is a design evolution, no revolution here.

I think with all other companies from Merc to Jeep getting too much media attention than BMW, something from BMW just had to be leaked.

Just boooooring...doesn't look bad either good. It is not much different from first X5 generation. I was hoping they would come up with something more inovative and couragious. I am big fan of BMWs but the SUVs aren't my cup of coffee.

Really BMW, you have to stop with the cut & paste with a few touch ups. It looks like a rehash of the X1 backside grafted onto 5 front end and something else thrown in the middle. Can you get back to some originality instead of BMW generic?
