How telling: Krawitz singing "bye bye" at the very beginning of the presentation. "Bye, bye" to everything the old `Vette stood for. The new "positioning" is squarely beside the previous enthusiasts. Good luck GM chasing potential luxo-sportscar customers that will not be seen in a C7 for the life of it.

Front looks good, the back however is a let down, but when the C7.R is revealed, the look could improve, hopefully it does.

I really don't like the rear end at all, but what caught my eye is the airflow simulations. I have never seen any that were that imbalanced on a production sports car. Other than the hood vent, which regardless of how you make it heat rises, it seems like the rest are more for show than function. Substantially more air going over the passenger side roof and barely any along the driver side, over the mirrors it's the opposite. Also what is with that cheap glued on trunk lip? Why is it not part of the molded plastic trunk??? To me it looks like there is too much going on everywhere for no reason other than to make the car look too busy.

Gotta say the design is absolutely stunning, but what a shame it's a Chevrolet

Love everything about it! If I had one complaint, it would be that the back is a little busy. 0-60 in under 4 seconds...yes please!

Very animated, remember the happy face on the 1998 dodge neon? They should have copied the grille off the 2013 Destino, and the Camaro rear end design doesn't match the rest of the car!

I like the front. When viewed head on it looks like it is ready to pounce. When you see it in your review mirror you'll know to get out of the way. Unfortunately, after you get out of the way you'll have to look at its ugly butt. That shouldn't be too long as it soon becomes a dot on the horizon.

what about the price? everyone is comparing this car to the viper or camaro but there is a big quality and price difference between them...

nothing impressive... and the four-tail pipes are extremely ugly, the rear is squary and the front is streamline they don't fit together

Camaro rear meets Viper fascade. However, it's a great combo, but I would have appreciated a unique split rear screen Stingray look for the C7. Still hot though. Can't wait to hear it! The Germans are watching you Mr 'Vette!!

WCF says the car's style is evolutionary? maybe, but some elements are strongly revolutionary...split rear lights now and singular unit, two instead of four, entire roof line is much more mainstream than traditional corvette, which is known for its rear window that goes all the way to the side behind the doors side window...traditional vette. also singular side window is traditional vette since day one...first time theyve added a secondary small side window in corvette history...it has also escape the powerful canopy look replaced by more mainstread wide body style

I am missing the rear panorama window. This was unique for the Corvette. Now it's like the competitors.

Although its a little weird too see that Viper front the car is simply beatiful, all those lines and attention to detail, specs are promising and with that perfect weight distribution it will be a big problem to all those Ferraris, BMWs or Porsches etc, very nice job!!

Nice, but not iconic, like the most of corvettes. The rear looks much too massive for a sportscar, the front is very ferrari-like, It looks quite nice, but for me not good enough, i'm dissapointed after seeing the superbeautiful Stingray concept!

Yes it is an improvement over the C6 but it the bad thig is that it has the front as its rival the Viper

well, i'm pleasantly impressed! you can see they tried hard (maybe a little to hard sometimes as some previous comments show in terms of little touches and design ligns). of course nowadays almost every new model takes inspiration from others in the branch (i'm seeing some audi r8 interior hints) but that's a good thing in my opinion. i really like the exterior (despite the viper resemblance).

First the new Viper and now the new Corvette, looks like the designers are stuck in the '90s.
