Lexus hints at an IS Sport Cross for Detroit

Could be a key model for Europe

Lexus recently revealed the 2014 IS F Sport, but it appears the company still has a few tricks up their sleeve for the North American International Auto Show.

A post of their Facebook page reads "Do you remember the ‘02 IS 300 Sport Cross with its style, utility and performance? Will we bring it back? Watch the 2014 IS premiere on Facebook in 6 days to find out!"

While Lexus shied away from confirming an IS wagon, the post hints that a concept or production model could debut in Detroit. This wouldn't be terribly surprising as Lexus is committed to becoming a legitimate contender in Europe and the IS' key rivals - the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series and Mercedes C-Class - all offer wagon variants.

it still has that japanese gloss to it that says "i am trying to be german, but im not there yet"
