A GT 86 for the ladies

Toyota has given the GT 86 a complete restyle to make the coupe more appealing to ladies.

Most of the changes can be seen on the front fascia which looks entirely different than the stock model, while the back shows new taillights, modified bumper with new exhaust pipes. There's also a new spoiler and a two-tone scheme to go with the body changes.

This custom GT 86 is equipped with 18-inch BBS alloy wheels with Goodyear Eagle LS Premium 215/45 R18 front and 225/45 R19 rear tires. A power upgrade isn't included as the only performance-related modification is the Brembo braking system with front four-pot and rear two-pot calipers.

The interior boasts new dashboard illumination, dark brown-colored leather appointments, revised dials, custom floor mats and a new emblem on the steering wheel.

In the press release section you can find full details.

It looks "cleaner" and better to me than the stock model ,but doing this car design "for the ladies",and putting it on the market for them, as Toyota supposedly claims, might have given it the kiss of death.

The front reminds me of a 2000GT and that's not a bad thing!

i like the front and not the back...if they hadnt painted it pink it could have appealed to a larger market...the front does remind me of a sporty fiat 500

Mr. Padaneau, was this really done to make it more appealing for the ladies? I like this better than the normal version.

Cool! Then we have a great taste in common! :). Hope Subaru will also make this version of the BRZ. Overall, Subaru in my opinion is a cooler manufacturer than Toyota.
