Minor updates for one the brand's best selling models

The 2014 Volvo XC60 has been spied virtually undisguised in China.

Modestly updated, the crossover has a new front bumper with a larger lower intake, vertical fog lights and single-piece headlights. Out back, the changes are less noticeable but include new exhaust tips and a chrome strip on the tailgate.

The interior carries over with minor modifications including a revised instrument cluster and possibly a larger infotainment system display.

Engine options remain a mystery, but we could see some minor tweaks for improved performance and increased fuel efficiency.

The 2014 Volvo XC60 will likely be unveiled sometime next year, so stay tuned for full details.

It looks cheap or is it the color... The front looks fake and cheap plastic molding...no kinda euro-back ground...

DTM, I consider the XC60, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Infiniti EX, and Mercedes GLK to be compact premium SUVs. I also see the BMW X1 and Audi Q3 as compact premium crossovers.

Great understated mid-sized SUV from Volvo. I do hope the replacement for the XC90 will be as successful.

Compact SUV, my friend, not mid-sized. I don't think there is a mid-sized premium SUV market, to be honest.

Incorrect. Compact SUV would be an X1, Midsized the X3. I do know what I'm talking about. http://topcar.co.za/road-tests/comparisons/2012-best-buys-mid-size-suv/ http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/cars-trucks/rankings/Affordable-Midsize-SUVs/ http://www.caradvice.com.au/124110/volvo-xc60-d5-review/ http://www.thecarconnection.com/news/1063507_mid-size-suvs-with-forward-collision-avoidance-systems.
