Jeep has announced plans to offer a Grand Cherokee SRT8 Hyun Black Edition in China.

Essentially a renamed SRT8 Vapor Edition, the model has a monotone appearance with a painted grille, black badging and 20-inch aluminum wheels. There's also tinted bi-xenon headlights and chrome accents.

Like the standard model, the Black Edition is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that develops 461 bhp (344 kW) and 624 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque. It should enable the crossover to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 160 mph (257 km/h).

The model is currently available for order and pricing starts at 1.19 million yuan.

Exactly! So, stop complaining all of you! You guys should be talking about the attractive lines and searing pace of the SRT8 not the price tag; the Chinese customers think like the Dubai/Saudi Arabian cliques meaning money is no object! Get used to it!
