Chevrolet Cruze WTCC Edition launched in China

Chevrolet has announced plans to offer a Cruze World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) Edition in China.

Designed to celebrate the brand's success in the popular racing series, the WTCC Edition is distinguished by race-inspired graphics and a body kit that includes revised side skirts, a trunk-mounted spoiler and a new rear bumper.

Engine options carryover, so choices include a 1.6-liter petrol that develops 115 bhp (86 kW) and 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) of torque as well as a 1.8-liter petrol that cranks out 145 bhp (108 kW) and 177 Nm (130 lb-ft) of torque.

The Cruze WTCC Edition is currently on sale and pricing starts at 123,900 yuan ($19,870 / €15,030).
