Fiat 500S (Euro-spec)

Available with all engines

Fiat has prepared a sport package for the Euro-spec 500 model.

Slotted between the stock version and the more powerful Abarth model, the 500S is aimed at the younger market and comes with a sport pack including new alloy wheels, bumpers, side skirts, dark chrome trim, tinted glass and a rear spoiler.

The cabin features sportier bucket seats, shift knob and steering wheel - all which feature red stitching. There are several "500S" logos and a matte silver trim for the dashboard. The 500S is available with the entire non-Abarth engine lineup. In the United States, Fiat is offering the 500 Turbo as a less powerful version of the Abarth model but more potent than the stock model.

I would not consider this 500 without a more powerful engine. The Abarth has a considerably larger, SUV-sized, turning radius than the regular 500. A 500 Turbo, with a more powerful engine minus Abarth kit would be perfect. Incidentally the only engine for the 500L in the US is the 160hp Turbo from the 500 Abarth.

I do think the less powerful turbo from the 500 Turbo will be the standard engine on the 500L, though.
