Why the hell do they have to make it a hybrid ? It would be a lot faster and nimbler and more fun to drive without all the added weight, and also a lot better for the environment.

"be faster and nimbler without the added weight" obviously the hybrid tech makes the car faster or they wouldn't use it in their racers, which by the way lapped faster than the same car without the system equipped. Ferrari has said multiple times it is adding electric motors to the f70 because they increase performance. Open your mind Eddie.

Lets say you have a V6 engine with 400hp and two electric engines with 200hp, for a total of 600hp. Then you have the same car with a V8 engine that makes 600hp. The V8 car will be a lot lighter and faster. The hybrid car won LeMans not because it was faster, it won the race because it was more efficient and because of regulations. You don't have those regulations for a street car.

sorry @Edbacau, but if im right than regulations in WEC and LeMans are against Audi and always have been, even in R8 times they have to carry onboard extra 200kg to make others competitive and make race a bit interesting to watch other wise Audi race them all down, looks like you ha

The only* problem/challenge i see with this is visibility - never the less it would love to see one clearing the Autobahn and everybody going WTF !. And with this kind of car you properly don´t have to look much backwards except when parking and that would possible only happen in a private garage.
