Nissan's parallel hybrid system is quite different from that of the Prius, which has a complex series parallel hybrid architecture. Nissan hybrid is simple and super lightweight.

No sportier styling Nissan. One of the best things about this car is its unique and unassuming appearance. Nothing looks like it, yet it has presence and a purposeful stance.

God no. Please don't make it look like an Infiniti. That design language is bloody awful and dated. Fat, curvy...like an armadillo. NO!! The new baby LFA, the Supra, NSX and next generation of Japanese sports cars won't be fat, bloated curvy and jarring to the eyes. If Nissan mess this up, the GTR will go from hero to zero in one move.

If not for the awesome performance, this pig of a car would have been called out for being the ugliest supercar ever made by a major manufacturer. I know the fan boys will come flame but this is a seriously ugly car.

If they can capture the energy of gasoline engine into the batteries and help it have a seemless quicker take-off, it will change alot of minds of how hybrid engine can be employed electrically to help on speed and accelaration. Of course more weight means they got shed it somewhere else to have optimal gains.

60 in less than 3 seconds. Is a quicker takeoff even feasible or necessary?

If Nissan keeps it close to the drawings, it's a looker. Now, what can they do about the Juke?
