Alfa Romeo just started testing the 4C, but that hasn't stopped one of them from being involved in a minor accident.
Details are limited, but Youtube's marco301091 has uploaded a video which shows a prototype that apparently lost control, skidded onto the grass and hit a sign. There's no word on how this happened, but weather conditions might have played a factor.
As we have previously reported, the Alfa Romeo 4C will feature the company's new turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. While it can produce as much as 300 bhp (224 kW), previous reports have indicated it will only develop 230 hp (172 kW) in the 4C. Regardless of the final numbers, the engine is expected to be connected to a dual-clutch transmission which could enable the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds and hit a top speed of approximately 250 km/h (155 mph).
