Skoda just unveiled the 2013 Octavia, but that hasn't stopped the high-performance RS variant from leaking out early.
Accidently published on the company's car configurator - which is unsurprisingly down for "technical reasons" - the pictures reveal the model has a sporty front fascia with honeycomb grille inserts and LED fog lights. We can also see revised side skirts, gloss black mirrors and five-spoke alloy wheels with red brake calipers. Lastly the rear end has a new bumper, a trunk-mounted spoiler and a dual exhaust system.
There's no word on what will power the model, but we wouldn't be surprised if it is equipped with a turbocharged engine that develops more than 200 hp (149 kW). This, combined with the model's reduced weight, should enable the car to be faster than its predecessor.
