Ferrari GTE Concept envisioned as the F70

Ferrari GTE Concept

An imaginary Enzo successor

Angelo Granata has envisioned his own version of the Ferrari Enzo successor.

We are sure that not a lot of people would mind if this were indeed the new F70. The GTE Concept is 4,650mm long, 2,030mm wide and 1,080mm tall, with a 2,680mm wheelbase. The front features F40-inspired double LED projectors and a duckbill nose design meant to lower aerodynamic drag and increase downforce during high speeds. At the back it comes with an adjustable spoiler built into the car's body.

The GTE is imagined with a carbon fiber monocoque passenger safety cell, a front/rear subframe and a double clutch gearbox. Power comes from a hybrid setup that includes an 800 hp (596 kW) V12 7.3-liter engine and a 120 hp (89 kW) KERS system.

Check out Angelo's link below to see some of his other concepts, including a modern McLaren F1.

The profile reminds me of the Jaguar Xj-220...back is lazely done, mingling the 430 and 458...but overall its not half bad, although totally inaccurate in my opinion

Straight on look is a Porsche 918...with Ford GT lights...You know what this could be?.... a modern BB. Just fix grille accordingly.

This fellow right here got it all wrong. It looks italin, but another brand. The logo should be for the Lamborghini. A little bit rounded modern day Lambo, but still, a Lambo.(all in the front, the side - including the lambo style doors) The rear qurterpanel view has design cues from Testarosa age Ferrari models indeed.

I see XJ220 and maybe some Ford F40. Good looking stuff but just not what Ferrari is doing these days.

Gorgeous....Love it as a Ferrari. There are certainly cues which resemble the McLaren F1. I get a strong sense of a new XJ220 from the black version and sense the extreme beauty and buttery curves of the Miura in birds eye vantage points. Profile is insane, rare quarters are amazing..fantastic from every angle.

To me this is missing something which makes it a Ferrari. And what's with those wheels? Like other comments here I think it borrows a little to much from others. To me Ferrari always create a unique product, but I can't see it in this.

The prettiest Ferrari since the 360, but it doesn't have a manual and doesn't really look like a Ferrari.

All those dismissively comparing it with other brands: I bet you can't do better.

when I first looked at the profile I directly remembered the Jaguar XJ-220 http://www.remarkablecars.com/main/jaguar/jaguar-xj-220-pictures.html
