These are the latest spy photos of the upcoming 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
A full body prototype was spied while undergoing testing before the car's late 2013 / early 2014 arrival. Despite the heavy camo and black panels, we can tell that it will get an A-Class-inspired front fascia with sweptback headlights and a prominent grille. The back of the car seems to be rounder, while a sporty lower intake is expected.
Last month we had a look at some spy photos with the interior that will probably get higher quality materials, metallic accents, a new COMAND controller and circular air vents. In addition, an S-Class-inspired center stack sitting under a big infotainment display is also on the list.
We don't know for sure what's going on under the hood, but chances are that it will be offered with some of the 4-cylinder engines available for the A- and B-Class. Various reports are indicating the 2014 C-Class could be offered with a 3-cylinder engine, and might even get a hybrid variant with an electric motor generating an extra 27 hp (20 kW).
