Rare low-mileage Saab models up for auction

Rare low-mileage Saab models up for auction
Saab 9-4X

9-5 SportCombi available

Swedish auction house KVD is offering some rare, low-mileage Saabs that are being sold as part of the bankrupt firm's assets.

At the beginning of the year the Saab Museum was liquidated and all concepts and historic cars were sold. Now, several vehicles with very few miles are being sold through KVD. Saab produced only a handful of 9-4Xs and they shut down before the 9-5 SportCombi went on sale, which means that this is the last change to purchase one of these two rare models.

Several vehicles have the protective factory shipping tape while most cars have fewer than 10 miles on the odometer. If you check out the source link below you'll find out that the reserve prices are pretty low, representing a good opportunity to get one of the last Saabs before the upcoming EV era.

I hope GM produces the 9-5 and Wagon and puts a different brand on it. Good looking cars

rare birds but other than sentimental value for the brand these models aren't really collectable IMO

maybe I am being stupid but why won't Saab build new 9-5s? They just developed it so it's a new, competitive model- 9-4X too... it seems stupid to me to have launched new nodels and then not make them but maybe some rights were lost in the legal wrangling???

There's just one slight problem with them. YOU CAN'T DRIVE THEM ON THE ROAD. Most of the cars on sale do not have valid vehicle approval by the EU, so they cannot be registered. Also, for the station wagons and 9-4x, there are no spares. So if they break they will be difficult to fix.
